one person somewhere whispered into the wind and the gods saw fit to bow to their whims i guess it doesn’t matter how small the chance the garages can’t help but necromance you better run for your own protection after this unexpected resurrection we don't know exactly what it means but you’re gonna hear me scream! chorby soul, chorby sing, chorby re-enters the ring chorby bless, chorby soul, chorby’s back let’s rock and roll i'm back, i'm back, i'm back and i'm here to stay let's play, let's play, i've got a debt to pay i'm back, i'm back, i'm back and i'm here to stay let's play, let's play, i've got a debt to pay they rolled the dice and i'm born again and i'm not going back to where i've been i'd screamed my last, i died in flame but this time around you won't forget my name when i made my sacrifice i'm not sure it was worth the price watching those i died for enter the hall but now i’m back, play ball! chorby soul, chorby sing, chorby re-enters the ring chorby yes, chorby no, i’m not under your control! i'm back, i'm back, i'm back and i'm here to stay let's play, let's play, i've got a debt to pay go! let’s go! i'm back, i'm back, i'm back and i'm here to stay let's play, let's play, i've got a debt to pay

the loudest voice in the hall seasons ago you took the fall for him, then he fell to her you've been looking so long for a way out of here a system tuned just wrong a single note off key who needs a song when you can scream? a staticky soul an opening wormhole opportunist creature that you are, you take the gamble tearing at skin "where have you been" is what you imagine then you fall onto the grass oh, from fire and sulfur oh, to storm and thunder the screech of feedback in a broken speaker oh, to have a second chance at life oh, to be a zombie by design to have escaped the reaper and made it your own

Our home is a gyre growing wider Our home is a hellhole with a welcome mat Our home is a scream from the grand stands Tearing through your inner ear on the drive back We heard you came for a show We think you'll fit right in, fit right in Did anyone hear an echo? Can anybody see the waves come in? Chewing trails in the noise, we're getting echoic Feeding back with the flood & the blood type In love with the fire, feeling derelict A fixer-upper with pedestrian hype I bet you're wondering how We're getting into your vibes, never fear We're just trying to make a noise to cauterize the blood inside your ears The bigger the garage The better the sound We're just so glad you came around The bigger the crowd The better the ache Can you feel the bones in your head shake? The better the team The bigger the flood around here, your blood is our blood The louder the noise The better the game There's worse things in life than getting shamed

(I can’t do this anymore) (They’re swept away) (It all fades to static) I’m taking the backstreets The backstreets, they’re flooding And I have a slushie in hand I’m swimming through debris They’re coming to get me But these soaking shoes can’t dry up I’m drowning, I’m speechless We’re drifting too far Together They say it’s a problem But I see no problem It’s just the weather It’s a slushie It’s a slushie It’s a slushie It’s a slushie I’m taking the front seat The front seat, it’s grimy And my puddle, it don’t help that I’m watching my own team They’re failing, they’re losing Say, how’s last place sounding today Sprite, Pepsi, or Fanta The colours, I got them The raindrops they fall on my ball cap Sprite, Pepsi, or Fanta The big cup, it’s flowing Elsewhere, that’s always the bet It’s a slushie Another slushie It’s a slushie It’s a slushie My friends they’re swept away It’s here to stay My friends they’re swept away It’s here to stay (One hand on my slushie) My friends they’re swept away It’s here to stay (One hand on my slushie) My friends they’re swept away It’s here to stay

out of sight 03:34
i know you didn’t mean to and no i’m not upset but when i'm not around anymore there’ll be nothing to forget i think that i prefer this to be hidden from the spotlight just down here in the shadows thriving in the night and if you do remember well that’s okay with me but i'd rather be forgotten i'd rather be set free even when i was with you i was hardly even there so when i retreat to the shadows don’t pretend you care let me blend into the choir of long forgotten souls there is peace within the darkness there is comfort in the cold and if you all forget me well that’s okay with me ‘cause the ones we love remember those close to us will see since we shine brightest in the shadows at the darkest time of night to the ones who want to see us we’re right there in plain sight
