morning all, it’s a new day on the field
with the Garages up to bat which means that we’ll be putting on quite a show
let’s play ball, it’s the only thing that’s real
besides the fact that we are going to lose but hey, we all already know
let’s roll call, we’ve got mediocre batters
and a rotation the size of a small nation, we’ve got some room to grow
overall yeah we could be doing better
‘cause we’re twenty-four points in the hole and we’ve got some more innings to go


we play pretty terribly
but we always could be worse
even when we win by being last
we still don’t come in first
we are constantly in flux
swapping our bandmates around
our team’s not used to looking up
we’re all just upside down


we play bad which means we are good at losing
but when the rules said we win by losing we weren’t good enough, so we lost
might I add that not by our own choosing
we’re the bottom of the league one season and the next one we’re at the top
mild nomads, yeah we wander through the standings
with no rhyme or reason, we’re just breezing through the wrong wills that we just got
scouts in plaid, yeah we soldier through the seasons but I guess it’s better to never win than it is to be forgot
